Surface Grinding

This type of grinding is applicable both to large, heavy pieces as well as smaller, lighter parts.

Large pieces, such as round plates of up to Ø 1000 mm and square or rectangular plates of 1000 mm in diagonal , can be machined in this way.

The main advantage of this type of grinding is that intermediate operations such us dressing and milling, can be skipped, and the rough surface can be machined directly. Grinding results are very accurate: piece dimensions can be adjusted to thousands of millimetres. Likewise, high quality finishes can be obtained: roughness, parallelism and flatness cannot compare with those achieved in machines other than grinders.
